About the speakers
Amanda Alvarez is the Insights Portal Manager at Comcast. She also manages and coordinates the agile research tools for the consumer research and insights team. She is an experienced researcher and instructor at the university level, skilled in quantitative, qualitative, and experimental research. Prior to joining Comcast, Amanda conducted extensive research focused on the relationships between risk acceptance and protest, objectification of women and political attitudes, as well as the micro-dynamics of internal conflict. Amanda holds a PhD in Political Science from Temple University and a master’s degree in Latin American Studies from the University of Miami.
Thor Olof Philogène is the CEO and co-founder of Stravito, an AI-powered knowledge management system for market research and insights with clients such as Electrolux, Carlsberg and Danone. Before Stravito, Thor was the Chief Revenue Officer at fintech company iZettle, which was since acquired by Paypal. Thor holds an M.Sc. in Business Administration from Stockholm School of Economics.
